Hayley O’Keeffe is a seasoned news and music journalist with a 20 year career in knowing what makes a good story.
A lover of books and literature, Hayley holds a degree in Creative Writing, as well as post graduate senior journalism qualifications.
As a journalist she is as at home interviewing top politicians and rock stars as she is your grandma on her 100th birthday, and has worked as a national newspaper reporter on three titles and for the past five years has edited three regional newspapers.
She writes long form features for music magazines, starting her interviewing career at the tender age of 15 with punk rocker Glen Matlock of The Sex Pistols.
A champion of diversity in journalism, Hayley is part of the selection panel for the Journalism Diversity Fund, a scholarship which helps people from underrepresented backgrounds achieve a career in journalism, of which Hayley was a recipient.
Hayley is also the founder of The Animal News Agency, an animals only news and PR service which boast clients including Baggy the world’s first air pollution monitoring dog and the NoToDogMeat charity.
